Gait retraining RCT to lower loading rate of vGRF in runners. N=320(!). 62% lower injury incidence 1yr post.

🔑 ⬆️ step length
🔑Gait retraining helpful
🔑⬆️cadence 7% to achieve this
🔑Changing foot strike or footwear may not be necessary

to reducing patellofemoral loads, gait retraining may be better option than minimalist shoes given that gait retaining actually reduces achille tendon loads vs increased loads associated w/ minamilist shoes
